Yoga is a system that keeps us healthy.  It is an ancient system which helps us live in modern times.  It gives us tools we can use every day to maintain a healthy body and to help us deal with stressful situations. It helps us develop concentration and confidence. It provides us with ways to relax, to clear away physical and mental tensions and to see things in a more positive way. Yoga allows us to take a moment to slow down in this fast paced environment, discover who we truly are and nurture ourselves. It empowers and inspires. It is non-competitive and adaptable. It doesn’t matter if you can’t touch your toes!

The style of yoga taught is a traditional and an integral type. It is a complete approach to yoga. It is a combination of Hatha yoga and Raja Yoga. It is an approach which is easily adaptable and inclusive. It’s “Total yoga”, yoga for daily life.

“YogAnahata” is two words joined together: “Yoga ” means “union”and “Anahata” refers to anahata chakra, the centre where harmony, balance, compassion and  tolerance develops and all people and things accepted for what they are:”embodiments of perfection”.(Swami Satyananda Saraswati-Sure Ways to Self-Realization).

It’s never too late, nor too early to start Yoga! So, now is a good time to start! **To find out details about the classes and teacher, click on the  appropriate pages.**
